Snowboarder

Brew has been riding since the mid-1980s, witnessing—and shaping—the evolution of snowboarding from its earliest days. He was one of the nation’s first snowboard instructors at the birthplace of the sport, Stratton Mountain, Vermont, helping to teach and inspire the very first generation of riders.

Brew moved to Vermont to work for Jake Burton at Burton Snowboards, beginning as a sales rep before transferring to on-snow instruction, where his true passion lay. Since then, he has continued to ride, teach, and mentor, remaining committed to the sport’s culture and progression.

With a goal to ride until he’s 88, Brew approaches every season with the same curiosity, discipline, and love for the mountain that has driven him for nearly four decades.
